Mr. Cabes’ primary practice is in representation of independent and major oil and gas operators and landowners in all areas of Louisiana, including title opinions, contracts, representation before Office of Conservation and State Mineral Board; litigation in energy and related fields, as well as general commercial litigation, before state and federal courts in Louisiana. He is also recognized as a top Energy Practitioner in Best Lawyers and SuperLawyers. Robert L. Cabes has been recognized as a 2020 “Lawyer of the Year” in the practice area of Natural Resources Law in Lafayette.
