Raymond J. Pajares
After receiving his law degree from Loyola University in 1985, Mr. Pajares was an associate in the offices of Hargrove, Guyton, Ramey & Barlow in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he participated in a litigation practice. He returned to New Orleans and practiced at Phelps Dunbar in a litigation and insurance practice and became a Partner in 1993. In 1995, he was a founding partner of Aubert & Pajares, L.L.C. and later Pajares & Schexnaydre, L.L.C. and remained a partner in that firm until 2015.
Mr. Pajares was appointed to serve as National Coordinating Counsel in the Multi-District Orthopedic Bone Screw Litigation and Defense Counsel in the National Breast Implant Class Action Litigation. Mr. Pajares also served as National Counsel in the PPA Litigation. He continues to practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation, specializing in products liability claims, insurance bad faith claims, medical malpractice claims, medical device claims, director and officer liability claims, architect and engineer liability claims, pharmaceutical claims, and general tort cases. Mr. Pajares has tried cases to verdict in Louisiana, California and Texas and has managed Multi-District Litigation across the country.
Mr. Pajares was also a Contracts Administrator and Negotiator for Martin Marietta Aerospace in the Space Shuttle Program.
