Morley C. Diment
Morley C. Diment graduated from the Jones School of Law in the top ten of his class with cum laude honors. His primary practice areas are bankruptcy, real estate, and corporate representation. Mr. Diment’s bankruptcy practice focuses primarily on representing consumer debtors and creditors in the Louisiana’s Middle and Eastern Districts. Licensed in Michigan and Louisiana and a former clerk for the Middle District of Alabama, Mr. Diment has experience in federal bankruptcy courts in three states. Using his experience, Mr. Diment assists his clients in protecting their rights in complex bankruptcy matters. Mr. Diment has represented multiple small businesses in varying capacities, from an advisory capacity to general counsel. His real estate practice involves commercial and residential title, closings, and transactional representation for small residential to large multimillion-dollar commercial transactions. Mr. Diment teaches the real estate paralegal course at Baton Rouge Community College. He also offers pro bono representation to the neediest of Baton Rouge through the Baton Rouge Bar Associations Pro Bono program.
