Lauren A. Williams
Lauren Accardo Williams is an associate in Milling Benson Woodward’s Mandeville office. Her practice primarily focuses on general civil litigation, insurance defense, healthcare law, business transactions and disputes, and governmental entity defense.
Ms. Williams graduated from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2017 where she was selected as a Chancellor’s Scholar and was the recipient of the William B. Owens Endowed Scholarship. During law school, Ms. Williams was involved in LSU Law’s advocacy program where she served on the Moot Court Executive Board, earned best brief in the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Competition, and participated in the juvenile defense clinic. Ms. Williams was also a regional finalist in the 2016 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2017, Ms. Williams had the honor of interning at the Louisiana Supreme Court as a student law clerk under Justice Weimer.
Prior to joining Milling Benson Woodward, Ms. Williams worked as an in-house attorney at an international oil & gas manufacturing company based in South Central Louisiana. While in-house, Ms. Williams gained a deeper understanding of business operations, compliance, employment law, and multimillion dollar contract and intellectual property litigation.
Ms. Williams is licensed to practice in Louisiana and is a member of the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association.
